Moonclip Loading Tool

The Moonclip Loading Tool is set-up to load all .45 acp - 6 shot Full Moonclips.

The Moonclip Loading Tool will also load .40 S&W (hex center hole) Full Moonclips on the same .45 acp set-up.
Two (2) additional center posts are included to load .40 S&W  Full Moonclip with a round center hole and 10mm , which is a taller cartridge,

Instructions:    Turn over the tool and make sure the O-ring is installed around all levers.

1. Place 6 rounds loaded to factory length specifications into the arms with the primers up.
2. Place the correct Full Moonclip on the center post.
3. Hold down the Full Moonclip with 2 fingers of your weak hand.
4. Squeeze the opposite arms with your strong hand fingers until the extractor grooves snap into the Full Moonclip.
5. Continue to hold down the Full Moonclip with 2 fingers of your weak hand now on the loaded rounds in the Full Moonclip and now you can squeeze 2 more arms, then the last 2 arms to fully load the Full Moonclip.
6. Remove loaded Full Moonclip from the Moonclip Loading Tool and begin loading another Full Moonclip as in step # 1.

NOTE: Do not try to snap/load more than 2 rounds at a time, as the Full Moonclip is a spring and will not flex enough to do that.

Extraction of cases from the Full Moonclip is best accomplished with my Full Moonclip Case Stripper Tool (Large).
